As Canada’s motorcycle financing specialists, our team of planning gurus and enthusiasts at Canada Powersports Financing love talking about the latest releases and updates to beloved lineups from motorcycle manufacturers worldwide. If you’re wondering what new motorcycles are coming in 2023, you’ve found the right place.
We’re huge fans of every motoring genre, from adventure bikes that can travel thousands of miles across Canadian and American highways to street-friendly models that can double as race bikes on the weekends. New models often mean a more accessible seat height for smaller riders, better power output for less fuel, and electric bikes that can beat muscle cars in a quarter-mile race.
Here are a few releases, facelifts, and upgrades we’re looking forward to in 2023. If you want advice on which bikes meet Canadian vehicle safety regulations, ask for a consultation from our team. We serve numerous clients who love shipping niche models only available in Asian and European markets.
The RS 660 Extrema
Hot off the heels of the Tuono 660 comes the RS 660 Extrema from renowned Italian manufacturer Aprilia.
Reviewers and enthusiasts celebrate the Tuono as the final word in the middleweight street bike segment. However, the Extrema arrives with a custom carbon fibre exhaust system from SC-Project specifically tailored to designer specifications. It shaves off a few pounds from the standard RS 660 with a 100% carbon crankcase and front fender.
Also, the Extrema trades its passenger seat for a custom tail faring, leading to a reported wet weight of only 180 kg. Its 659 CC parallel twin produces a clean 100 break horsepower at 10,5000 rpm on a six-axis internal platform. The Extrema has five riding modes, two of which are customisable.
2023 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally
The 2023 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is the Italian manufacturer’s answer to the never-ending clamour for the return of the beloved 1260 Enduro and the end-all-be-all for adventure lovers asking us what new motorcycles are coming in 2023.
It offers riders the capability to tackle all types of terrain with its patented Skyhook Suspension system, 6.5-inch TFT dash, and 1,158 CC Granturismo engine delivering over 170 break horsepower at 10,750 rpm. You can tune its power output to 114 HP for a more direct and dynamic response with an off-road mode, newly refined for the 2023 model year.
Suzuki V-Strom 1050
The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 is world-famous for its reliability, nimbleness, and practicality. For the 2023 model year, the Japanese company upgraded its Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, or SIRS, by allowing its front and back automatic braking systems to engage even as the V-Strom 1050 leans hard into a corner.
The new 1050 honours its Dakar heritage with an upgraded 1037 CC V-twin engine and fully adjustable inverted fork suspensions. It features three riding modes that work with its Bi-Directional Quick Shift System.
